Next Generation Language Translation Technologies With the enormous increase in digital content and the increasing requirements to translate it, Machine Translation is continuing to grow in importance and acceptance in the global translation industry. This industry value is expected to reach USD$25 billion by 2013. Already some of the largest Independent Service Vendors are using Machine Translation as a key enabler in their globalization strategies. However, there are significant challenges in deploying Machine Translation solutions, particularly for professional translators and SMEs who find the current generation of tools too complex and the computing requirements beyond the capacity of traditional desktop computers.
